Kia Sonet Aurochs Edition launched in India, prices start from Rs 11.85 lakh
Kia India announced the Sonet Aurochs Edition, with pricing beginning at Rs. 11.85 lakh (ex-showroom) in India. The special edition model is based on the HTX model and receives aesthetic improvements on the outside. The Sonet Aurochs Edition gets its name inspiration from the Aurochs cattle that is now extinct.

In comparison to the HTX model, the new Sonet Aurochs Edition features tangerine accents on the front grille, front and back skid plates, and doors. The Aurochs Edition symbol is also present on the grille. The skid plates feature a striking dual-tone colour, which adds to the SUV's street appearance. The side body covering has received a similar treatment. Overall, the visual enhancements have contributed to the SUV's more robust appearance. Sonet Aurochs Edition is for those who wish to make their rides more special and colourful.
Gravity Grey, Aurora Black Pearl, Sparkling Silver, and Glacier White Pearl are the four colours available for the Sonet Aurochs Edition.
The Sonet Aurochs Edition comes with a 1.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 1.5-litre diesel engine. The petrol engine produces 120PS of maximum power and 172Nm of maximum torque. There are two transmission options: 6iMT and 7DCT. The diesel engine produces 116PS/250Nm and is connected to either a 6iMT or a 6AT transmission.
An electric sunroof, a flat-bottom steering wheel, a height-adjustable driver seat, remote engine start function, smart key with push-button start, cruise control, automatic climate control, rear AC vents, an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, drive and traction modes, and four airbags are among the interior features of the Sonet special edition.
