Kia India crosses 5 lakh sales in under 3 years
In less than three years of existence, Kia India surpasses the 5 lakh domestic sales milestone. With exports included, Kia India's total deliveries from its Anantapur manufacturing unit stand at 6,34,224 vehicles.
Kia India claims that its last 1 lakh sales were boosted by the launch of the Kia Carens in just a little over 4 months. The Kia Seltos continues to be the most popular Kia in India contributing 59 percent to the company's overall tally.
The Kia Sonet comes in second by contributing just over 32 percent of Kia India's overall sales. The Carens has contributed close to 6.5 percent to Kia's domestic sales in just 5 months of its launch.
Kia also intends to grow its touchpoints from 339 to 400 across 225 cities by the end of CY2022. Furthermore, Kia also claims that CY 2022 has been Kia India's most successful year so far as it has already sold almost 70 percent of the last year's sales
