The city of Lucknow was witness to a one-of-a-kind motor rally when about 100 cars hit the streets to participate in the JK Tyre Oudh treasure hunt. The rally was conceptualised by Eastern Motorsports to explore the rich legacy of the Mughals in the capital of Uttar Pradesh while also emphasizing on the importance of safe driving. The rally was on public roads in normal cars and participants were provided with road books and informed at what average speed one should travel. The route took the cars, with around three people each, through properties that included the famous La Martinere, Imambara, Baradari and Jama Masjid, giving participants a great chance to discover the best that Lucknow's famous heritage offers.

Each stage of the 65 km rally had a pre-defined speed limit to ensure drivers refrain from over speeding and adhere to traffic rules. The time taken to cover a particular distance, in line with the maximum speed, determined the winner.

Hari Singh, manager-motorsport, JK Tyre & Industries Limited said, "In our day to day lives, we often disregard the timeless heritage that a city like Lucknow offers us. The JK Tyre Oudh Rally gave participants a fantastic chance to explore this richness, experience the thrills of driving in a professionally organised rally, and understand the importance of road safety."
