Jawa Motorcycles opens three dealerships in Bengaluru

After starting off with Pune, Jawa Motorcycles has now expanded its dealer footprint to include Bengaluru. Three dealerships have been opened in Koramangala, Basvanagudi and Rajaji Nagar. This is a part of the brands target of opening more than a 100 dealerships in India in its first phase of growth.

Like the Pune dealerships, the spaces have been done up in dark polished wood fixtures, subtle inlays, raw textures and vintage oxblood upholsteries. The dealerships showcase the brand's history, and are also a communal space with large tables, books and themed music playing in the background. The company says that it has designed these outlets to evoke the major attributes of the brand like nostalgia, good design, technology and so on.

Speaking at the inauguration, Ashish Joshi, CEO of Jawa Motorcycles said, "Bengaluru holds a special place in Jawa's Indian story by being home to the largest Jawa Community in India. Jawa fans in the city have kept the brand alive for all these years and I feel extremely privileged to inaugurate 3 new Jawa showrooms here today. The 2019 Jawa Forty Two looks very different from the Jawa, though

Jawa Motorcycles has started operations in India with two motorcycles. These are the Jawa, priced at Rs 1.67 lakh and the Jawa Forty Two, priced at Rs 1.58 lakh. Both ex-showroom Bengaluru. These are 293cc, liquid cooled, single cylinder, DOHC engine nestled within a double cradle chassis and putting out 27.4PS and 28Nm.
