Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster available in new colours

After launching the limited-run Jawa 42 Tawang, Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has introduced new paint options for the Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster. The Jawa 42 is now available with a new Metallic Cosmic Carbon paint job, whereas the Yezdi Roadster gets a new Crimson Dual Tone colour option, which is a blend of red and white shades.

Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster new colours

The Jawa 42 Metallic Cosmic Carbon costs Rs 1,95,142 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This new shade is costlier by Rs 1,000 over other paint options. On the other hand, the Yezdi Roadster Crimson Dual Tone costs Rs 2,03,829 (ex-showroom, Delhi), which has attracted a higher premium of Rs 2,687 compared to its other Dark-range colours. Interestingly, the new Crimson Dual Tone shade of the Yezdi Roadster is identical to the Jawa Bobber's Jasper Red.

Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster: Specifications

The Jawa 42 is powered by a 294.72cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor paired with a six-speed gearbox. This engine is capable of generating 27.3PS and 26.84Nm of torque. The Yezdi Roadster gets a 334cc, liquid-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 29.6PS and 28.95Nm of torque. It comes mated to a six-speed gearbox.

Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has commenced bookings for the new colours of the Jawa 42 and Yezdi Roadster on the corresponding websites of the brands for Rs 5,000. Further, it aims to expand its dealership network in India. Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles currently has 400 touchpoints across the country and it plans to add 100 more dealerships by the end of this year.
