Jaguar F-Type facelift launched in India at Rs 95.12 lakh

Jaguar has launched the facelifted Jaguar F-Type sportscar in India. This is the mid-cycle update for the British brand's flagship, with numerous engine and trim options now available. Prices start at Rs 95.12 lakh for the base P300 Coupe and go up to Rs 2.41 crore for the top P575  convertible AWD R.

There are three engine options available with facelifted Jaguar F-Type. The P300 variant comes with a 2.0 litre turbo four-cylinder that makes 300PS and 400 Nm. The top speed for this version is 250 mph and the 0 to 100 mph time is 5.7s. The P450 engine options comes after this. This is a 5.0-litre supercharged V8 with 450PS and 580 Nm. The claimed figures for this engine are 0 to 100 mph time of 4.6s and a 285 kmph top-speed.

The top-spec engine is the P575, this uses the same motor as the P450 but with the figures turned up to 575PS and 700 Nm. This version can do 300 kmph and get from 0 to 100 kmph in 3.7s. This is also the only one to get AWD, all others are RWD. All engines come mated to an eight-speed automatic.

The P300 variant can be had in three trims: standard, R-Dynamic and First Edition. The P450 gets R-Dynamic and First Edition while the P575 gets the most dynamic R trim. A convertible is also available with the R-Dynamic versions of the P300 and P450 and the P575 R.

As seen in here, the facelifted F-Type gets a fully redesigned front-end, with a larger grille and slim-wide taillamps. The bonnet is more aggressively shaped as well now, while the rear end has been sharpened up further with a new interpretation of the E-Type inspired lights. On the inside, there's a new 10-inch infotainment screen, digital dials, along with 12-way adjustable driver's seats, numerous wheels and tyre options and an active exhaust. Also, there are numerous interior patterns and materials on offer.
