Hyundai Alcazar Prestige Executive introduced as the new base variant at Rs 15.89 lakh

The Hyundai Alcazar SUV's variant lineup has undergone changes thanks to the introduction of a new base variant, the new Hyundai Alcazar Prestige Executive which starts at Rs 15.89 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new base variants are now Rs 55,000 more affordable than before. The new Prestige Executive Diesel MT 6 / 7 Seater is priced at Rs 16.30 lakh and the Diesel AT 7 Seater is priced at Rs 17.77 lakh.

The 2.0-litre petrol engine, which generates 159PS and 191 Nm, and the 1.5-litre diesel engine, which generates 115PS and 250 Nm, are both options for the Alcazar Prestige Executive.

The Hyundai Alcazar Prestige Executive now comes short on tech such as a manual IRVM instead of an auto-dimming one, a smaller 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system, no connected car technology, and chrome door handles. The new basic edition only has one mic instead of two. A burglar alarm and an auto-dimming IRVM are also absent.

The Hyundai Alcazar rivals the Mahindra Scorpio N, Mahindra XUV700, Tata Safari, MG Hector Plus and the Kia Carens.
