Honda launches Brio Exclusive Edition in India at Rs 4.92 lakh

Another offering specifically aimed for the festive season is here. Honda has launched a limited 'Exclusive' edition of the Brio. It also marks the second anniversary of the hatchback in the Indian markets. The Brio Exclusive Edition hatchback comes in the S MT variant and carries a price tag of Rs 4.92 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). It will be on sale till stocks last.

The Exclusive Edition is simply a cosmetic touch with mechanicals remaining unchanged. The interiors have gone the 'all-black' way with black dashboard and matching upholstery. Other details include an 'Exclusive' emblem, door visor, chromed exhaust tip, rear roof-spoiler, reverse parking sensor and illuminated sill garnish. Three paintjob options are available, namely Tafeta White, Alabaster Silver and Rally Red.

Power to this Brio comes from the 1.2-litre 4-cylinder i-VTEC petrol engine that makes 88PS of power and 109Nm of torque. The transmission is a 5-speed manual.

Many a carmakers look to launch new products during this festive season. Brands that do not have new products lined up look to offer refreshed versions of products or attractive deals on those existing products. Honda too, has followed suit with the refreshed limited edition Brio coming in to cash on the festive period. Toyota too has rolled out 'Exclusive' variants of the Etios and Liva

The Brio Exclusive Edition is pricier than the S MT variant by Rs 31,000; putting it in between the S MT and the S (O) MT variants. Honda currently has nine variants of the Brio on sale. They range from Rs 4.14 lakh to Rs 6.14 lakh (ex-showroom Delhi) including an automatic variant.
