Honda CBR650R and CB1000 Hornet SP recalled
The Honda CBR650R and the CB1000 Hornet SP has been recalled in India because of a wiring issue in the former and an over oil consumption issue with the later.

The Honda CBR650R seems to be having a wiring issue with the turn signal assembly, a wiring component seems to be rubbing against a metal component and continuous vibration over time may lead to a short circuit. This could also lead to malfunctioning of some lights and thus units that have been manufactured from December 16, 2024, to May 04, 2025 are advised for an inspection at the nearest dealership. Customers can check if their bike falls in the above mentioned category on the official Honda India website with the help of the VIN (Vehicle Identification Number).

The Honda CB1000 Hornet SP has been recalled owing to an oil consumption issue, the company has observed that oil consumption may vary due to certain part?related conditions. If oil levels are not checked regularly, changes in oil pressure may affect normal engine operation. The bikes manufactured from 30 September 2024 to 22 August 2025 might be affected. The company will notify customers via call / e-mail / SMS for inspection of their vehicle at the nearest Honda BigWing dealerships.
