The Team Firefox-organized Himalayan Drive 2022 followed the same route as the 82 Himalayan Rally as it travelled from Rishikesh to Mussoorie on November 4 in the evening.

The event's presenting long-term partner is Mahindra Adventure and 15 support vehicles were also given for the journey. The Mahindra XUV700, driven by Himalayan rally champion Jayant Shah's family was the first vehicle to leave Delhi when the Himalayan Rally began on October 31. Over 40 people took part in the drive, which was held as a memorial to the great rally champion and followed the course of the 1982 Himalayan Rally.

Prina Soni, Priya, and their brother Kalpesh were the first vehicles to arrive at the Welcom hotel Savoy to celebrate their father Jayant Shah's victories in this historic race. Surinder Thatthi, a Kenyan driver who placed third overall in the 82 race, was at the wheel of the second vehicle, a Mahindra Thar.

Mr Kidwai of the Welcome Hotel and Mr Kaya, the proprietor of the Savoy, witnessed the automobiles returning to Delhi on a clear morning with one more view of the snow-covered mountains during the final day's flag-off ceremony. The Himalayan Ranges' natural beauty is incomparable to that of the Alps, according to international participants from Kenya, the UK, the USA, and all of India. Team Firefox found it extremely pleasing that they had all reserved their spots for the Himalayan Challenge to The Roof of the World in 2019. The dates will be released soon.

Prina Soni, late Jayant Shah's daughter said "We are extremely delighted and honoured to be here for the Himalayan drive to celebrate dad for his 1982 rally victory. Delighted that my sister, brother, and my husband joined me here at this celebration to be able to ride the route and to experience through his eyes the memories during this event. I am happy to meet like-minded people and rally participants to have come together to hear all the wonderful stories of rallyists who took part in the actual event back in 1982. A special thanks to the organizers for giving us a wonderful car to drive on the route. I am totally at loss of words how my late father and you Rallyists actually drove at top speed on these scenic mountain roads, its not only scary but extremely Challenging. We just enjoyed the scenic beauty of The Himalayas."
