Hero Vida V1 Plus relaunched at Rs 1.15 lakh

Hero MotoCorp has relaunched the Vida V1 Plus in India at Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). The actual price of the electric scooter is Rs 1.45 lakh (with FAME II incentives) but the brand has given a huge discount of Rs 30,000, resulting in a lower price of Rs 1.15 lakh (ex-showroom). Also, prospective customers in Delhi and Punjab can benefit from an additional discount of up to Rs 20,000. For reference, the V1 Plus costs Rs 97,800 (ex-showroom) in Delhi.

Vida V1 Plus: Range, top speed, & charging

The Vida V1 Plus gets a 3.44kWh battery pack, offering a claimed range of 100km on a full charge. Whereas, the V1 Pro comes with a slightly larger 3.94kWh unit and delivers a range of 110km. However, both feature the same PMSM motor producing a peak power of 6kW and 25Nm of torque. The continues power output of the motor is rated at 3.9kW. The top speed of the electric scooter is 80kmph. Plus, the V1 Plus takes 3.4 seconds to go from zero to 40kmph, which is 0.2 seconds slower than the V1 Pro. With a portable charger or charging the removable two batteries at home, take about five hours and fifteen minutes to charge.

Vida V1 Plus: Features & specifications

It comes with three ride modes (Eco, Ride, and Sport), a seven-inch colour TFT display, Bluetooth connectivity, turn-by-turn navigation, front single disc, LED projector headlamp, anti-theft alarm, SOS alert switch, remote immobilisation, geo fencing, track my bike, keyless entry, and follow-me-home headlight, among others. Meanwhile, the Hero Vida V1 competes against the Ola S1 Air, Ather 450S, and Bajaj Chetak.
