Hero launches Super Splendor Xtec; prices start at Rs 83,368
One of the largest two-wheeler manufacturers, Hero MotoCorp, has launched the new Super Splendor Xtec in India at Rs 83,368 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The motorcycle comes with a few new features and an updated engine.
New Hero Super Splendor Xtec: Highlight
The highlight of the new Super Splendor Xtec is a new fully digital LCD instrument console with Bluetooth connectivity. This cluster can be paired with a smartphone. It also shows missed calls and SMS alerts, and smartphone battery status. On the other hand, the instrument cluster shows the speedometer, odometer, fuel gauge, trip meter, and mileage.
In addition, the Hero has bestowed the Super Splendor Xtec with a USB charging port and a new LED headlamp with daytime driving light.

Apart from that, the motorcycle comes with halogen indicators, an i3s engine start/stop system, a 240mm single disc brake at the front, telescopic front forks, pair of springs at the rear, and a combine braking system. Meanwhile, the Hero Splendor Xtec is available in two new paints: Matte Axis Grey and Candy Blazing Red, along with Gloss Black.
New Hero Super Splendor Xtec: Engine
Powering the new Super Splendor Xtec is an OBD-II-compliant 124.7cc, air-cooled, single-cylinder engine producing 11PS and 10.6Nm of torque. This motor comes coupled to a five-speed gearbox. Hero claims that the Splendor Xtec can return a mileage of 68kmpl.

The new Super Splendor Xtec drum brake variant costs Rs 83,368 (ex-showroom, Delhi), while the disc brake variant is priced at Rs 87,268 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
