GoPro on Thursday announced the new Hero 10 Black action camera and it will go on sale in India in November at Rs 54,500. The Hero 10 Black will feature a new user interface and GoPro's flagship GP2 processor.

Improved video algorithms, such as local tone mapping (LTM) and 3D noise reduction (3DNR), enabled by the new GP2 processor, capture finer detail, realistic textures and greater contrast even in low light.

The Hero 10 Black has 5.3K resolution video recording at 60 frames per second (fps), 4K resolution video recording at 120 fps and 2.7K resolution video recording at 240 fps. HyperSmooth 4.0 video stabilisation is also possible with the upgraded CPU, allowing for shake-free video recording.

According to GoPro, the Hero 10 Black's HyperSmooth 4.0 in-camera video stabilisation is capable of smoothing even the shakiest situations. In high-performance settings, the camera's in-camera horizon levelling function now has a tilt limit of 45 degrees, up from 27 degrees on the Hero 9 Black.

The new GoPro Hero 10 Black comes with Power tools like HindSight, LiveBurst, Scheduled Capture and Duration Capture, SuperPhoto + HDR, Night Lapse Video, Voice Control with 13 commands in 11 languages, 3 Microphones with Advanced Wind-Noise Reduction Stereo plus RAW Audio and much more. In addition, Hero 10 Black also has the ability to use the camera as a webcam for Zoom and Team calls.

GoPro has also increased the speed of content transfer using both wired and wireless means. Wireless offloading from the Hero 10 Black to the Quik app is now up to 30 percent quicker than before, according to GoPro. GoPro has also included a new USB cable offload option for content uploads from the camera to the Quik app on compatible smartphones at up to 50 percent quicker speeds than WiFi.
