Ford launches a new base variant of the Fiesta
After launching the new Fiesta PowerShift automatic a few weeks back, Ford India have launched a new trim of the Fiesta with a much needed price correction. The new trim, called as Ambiente is available in petrol form at a price of Rs 7.23 lakh. The Ambiente trim has height adjustable driver's seat, height adjustable seat belts, electric ORVMs, electric boot release, an audio system with six speakers and aux-in, audio controls on steering wheel, EPAS, rear defogger / demister, ABS with EBD, twin airbags and guide me home headlamps.
The diesel range now starts at Rs 8.99 lakh for the base Style trim which carries the same features as the Ambiente. Ford has also simplified the new Fiesta range now with only two variants of the petrol, diesel and the petrol automatic. The new trim levels now read as petrol: Ambiente and Titianium+, diesel: Style and Titanium+, petrol automatic: Style and Titanium+.
