Ford India opens second parts distribution centre in Tamil Nadu
Ford India has appointed a new genuine parts distributor, Eureka Ford, at No. 37, PM Towers, Greams Road, Chennai in the state of Tamil Nadu. The new PDC will now enable customers to purchase parts over the counter. Parts will also be sold to auto parts dealers and non-authorised service centres so as to ensure that customers can enjoy the freedom getting their vehicles serviced with genuine Ford components wherever they want.
Eureka Ford becomes the second exclusive distributor in the country that will sell genuine and affordable parts to customers, the first being Eminent Auto Parts in Delhi. Speaking about the new distribution centre, Nigel Harris, president and managing director, Ford India said, "From ensuring trust through Happy Pocket service at our dealerships to easy availability of Ford Genuine parts across Tamil Nadu, we guarantee quality and convenience to our consumers." Ford has also announced that it will expand the network of exclusive parts distributors to other states in a phased manner with distribution outlets planned in Karnataka, Maharashtra, Kerala and the eastern region of India.
