Ford Figo BSVI pricing and variant details revealed

Ford India has revamped its full line-up of sub-four-metre vehicles to meet the new BSVI emission norms. These include the Ford Figo hatchback, the Ford Freestyle crossover and the Ford Aspire sedan. Aside from the change in prices given the new tech being added, these cars have also seen a shuffling of their variants and features.

Prices of the Figo now begin at Rs 5.39 lakh, ex-showroom, for the Ambiente petrol version, up from the BSVI version's starting price of Rs 5.23 lakh. The diesel version now starts at Rs 6.86 lakh ex-showroom, for the newly added Trend variant, increasing from the BSVI version's Rs 6.13 lakh, for the Ambiente trim.

The BSVI Figo comes with two engine options. There is a 1.2-litre petrol motor with 96PS at 6,500 rpm and 119 Nm at 4,250 rpm. The fuel efficiency figure is 18 kmpl. The diesel motor is a 1.5-litre turbocharged unit that makes  100PS at 3,750 rpm and 215 Nm between 1,750 and 2500 rpm.
