Evolet launches Polo, Derby and Hawk electric bikes in India

Evolet scooters and motorcycles, part of the Rissala Electric motorcycles, has launched and showcased multiple all-electric offerings in India. The range starter scooters are Polo, Pony and Derby that will take on the likes of Ather and Okinawa. The two variants of Polo are Polo EZ with 48 V/24 Ah VRLA battery and Polo Classic with 48 V/24 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery. Polo EZ is priced at Rs 44,499 and Polo Classic at Rs 54,499.

Derby with waterproof BLDC motor and comes in two variants – Derby EZ with 60 V/30 Ah VRLA battery and Derby Classic with 60 V/30 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery. Price of Derby EZ is Rs 46,499 and Derby Classic is Rs 59,999.

Pony is available in two variants – Polo Pony EZ with 48 V/24Ah VRLA battery and Polo Pony Classic with 48V/24 Ah Lithium-Ion Battery. Polo Pony EZ comes with the price of Rs 39499 and Polo Pony Classic is at Rs 49499.

Evolet has also announced the price of the Warrior - an electric quad bike at Rs 1.40lakh.

Evolet has also showcased two upcoming offerings, the Raptor motoscooter and a naked Falcon that looks similar to the Revolt RV400. Both these bikes will be launched in a couple of weeks. Evolet will also be launching the Lancer electric bus with a range of 200km and a maximum speed of 100kmph.

The models that are a part of the company's all-electric portfolio are Hawk, which aims at being a sportier bike with a range of 150km and a maximum speed of 80kmph. The charging time for this bike is 5 hours and is powered by a 2000 watt BLDC motor that produces a peak power of 3500 watt. The bike comes with all-LED lights, E-ABS and a digital console.

Evolet will offer a warranty of 3 years on the battery and 18 month on the motor. Placed below the Hawk are the Polo twins, with a range of 65km and a maximum speed of 25kmph. The claimed charging time for this one is 3-4 hours. The two other scooter offerings from Evolet are Derby and Pony both of which are offered with an option between 60V/30Ah Lithium-Ion and VRLA batteries.

Evolet also has a quad that runs on electric, has a driving range of 50km, charging time of 8hours and a top speed of 60kmph.
