Event announcement: Royal Enfield’s Tour of Nepal to flag-off from April 25

Royal Enfield's popular Tour of Nepal expedition is back in its fifth iteration. To be flagged off on April 25, 2016 from Lucknow, the event will see 30 riders cover more than 2000km over a period of 15 days. The participants will be riding through Bhairhawa, Pokhra, Kalopani, Muktinath, Tatopani and, Kathmandu, Kodari, Nagarkot, Chitwana before heading back to Lucknow. "Flagging off on April 25, 2016 from Lucknow, the ride promises to offer an off-roading experience with an inexplicable adrenaline rush, winding mountain roads, slushy trails & even straight stretches through some of the most pristine forests, and is bound to satisfy your wanderlust in every sense of the word", says Royal Enfield in an official statement.

The expedition will lead to Pokhra through Jomsom which was earlier a trekking route. Royal Enfield mentions that the riders will experience extreme off-road trails on the way to Muktinath. After a halt at the Chitwan National park, the participants will continue their ride to reach Lumbini, the birthplace of Buddha.

The official statement further adds, "The route has been chalked out specifically, to challenge the riders with the majestic mountain ranges; slushy off-road trails; water crossings; gravel tracks, cross narrow suspension bridges. The love of 'pure motorcycling' brings riders together from all over India and bond over their common passion of riding a Royal Enfield through the winding mountain roads of Nepal and leave their marks on the most challenging and adventurous terrains in the world"
