Coronavirus impact: Nissan implements free anti-microbial sanitisation campaign
Nissan Motor India announced an anti-microbial sanitization campaign for the safety and wellbeing of all its customers. The campaign ensures that all Nissan dealers will perform a free of cost anti-microbial sanitization of all interior and exterior areas of the car that are frequently accessed or touched, including door handles, steering wheel, gear knobs, etc.
Customers will also be offered full sanitization of the vehicle using an interior fogging treatment, which ensures disinfection of the AC duct system, carpets etc., followed by exterior sanitization by spraying, at an affordable cost. The campaign will start from 15th May to June 30th and customers will receive invites via phone calls, e-mails and SMS from the nearest dealership and you can redeem the special anti-microbial sanitization service as well.
This will further help the customers to be at ease regarding their safety and also curb the spread of the Coronavirus pandemic. The initiative is a positive step for car owners and the company gets to show its concern for their valuable customers. We will soon be seeing similar campaigns by other manufacturers as well.
Many manufacturers have already launched online portals to reduce visits to the dealership after the nationwide lockdown is lifted. A relapse of the Coronavirus spread will be the last thing we need and such measures by companies would be much appreciated by the customers.
Rakesh Srivastava, Managing Director at Nissan Motor India said, "At Nissan India, our utmost priority is the well-being of all customers, employees and dealer partners. In these challenging times, it is important that we step up all types of sanitization services as a precautionary measure to collectively overcome the challenges in the society. The anti-microbial sanitization package is the continuation of our endeavour to provide best services to all the owners of Nissan & Datsun vehicles."
