Confirmed: 2020 BMW G 310 R and G 310 GS BSVI India launch on October 8
BMW Motorrad India has confirmed October 8 as the launch date for its updated entry-level offerings, the G 310 R and the G 310 GS. Keeping the present situation in the consideration, BMW Motorrad India is doing a virtual launch event for both the motorcycles. In August this year, BMW had commenced the bookings which was then followed up by the announcement of a new offer wherein customers can avail these motorcycles for an EMI of Rs 4,500 under the company's Bullet plan. Further, prospective customers can get their pre-approved loans at an attractive rate of interests before the launch of the motorcycles, stated the company.

As seen from the motorcycles being tested in Europe, the highlight will be the all-LED lighting, with a redesigned headlight assembly that seems larger and also gets slimmer side panels. The instrumental cluster design, beefy gold USD forks and the five-spoke alloys could be retained from the previous offering. What looks to have been changed or updated are the side panels and the tank design, wherein the tank features sharper lines while the panels have been extended to sync with the tank design.
With the tweaks in the design and additional features such as colour TFT display, ride-by-wire tech with slipper clutch and updated exhaust design, it is obvious to expect both the motorcycles to be priced at a higher premium. A similar set of revisions made the Apache RR 310 more expensive by Rs 12,000.
