Cars and bikes of James Bond 007: No Time To Die
The James Bond 007: No Time To Die trailer was dropped last night and as with any Bond movie, there are plenty of car chases, sick gadgetry and explosive action for the fans to look forward to.
The motoring buffs in us had to pen down a list of vehicles that we know are coming to the new Bond flick. So here goes:
Aston Martin DB5
What is a Bond movie without an Aston Martin? The iconic DB5 is back, and how! It's the first car you will spot in the trailer (and the last one too!) and it's not on the sidelines, pulling up at some fancy casino. In No Time To Die, it's at the heart of the action, going sideways, taking bullets and blasting through the bad guys, in the Italian city of Matera. Watch it pull out Gatling guns from behind the headlights!
Aston Martin V8 Vantage
Through the course of the trailer, you will also briefly spot another Aston Martin classic - a 1977 V8 Vantage. It has some action sequences too, and Bond nerds will notice the car wearing the same registration plate as the Vantage from the 1987 instalment, The Living Daylights.
Aston Martin DBS Superleggera
The gorgeous new DBS Superleggera also makes an appearance in the trailer. Though almost stationary in the trailer, we are hoping to hear its V12 goodness in the movie. It's shown to be driven by a character called Nomi, who is likely to replace Bond at MI6 in the course of the story.
Land Rover vs Land Cruiser
The classic Brit-Jap battle between Land Rover and Land Cruiser will be rekindled through a chase sequence between a Land Rover Range Rover Sport SVR and a 90's Land Cruiser Prado (in beige!), tearing through some Scottish landscape. The Toyota wins, of course.
Though not seen in the trailer, the new Land Rover Defender will also make an appearance in No Time To Die. The studio had confirmed its presence a while back, and it is said to have been filmed in Scotland too, alongside the Range Rover and the Land Cruiser.
Aston Martin Valhalla
Another car that was confirmed, but isn't seen in the trailer is the Aston Martin Valhalla. The super car from Aston Martin, co-developed with Red Bull Racing, made a debut at the Geneva Motor Show this year and will now make its onscreen debut with the new Bond movie.
The Triumph motorcycles
Triumph is back onscreen, this time with the Scrambler 1200 making a sick jump from a staircase into the thick of the action. Not as sick as the jump the new Tiger 900 made at its global unveiling, though. Speaking of which, the Tiger 900 is said to be a part of this Bond instalment too.
Other vehicles that are seen on the sidelines are Jaguar XFs, the electric London Taxi, old Range Rovers, a two-door Defender, Fiat 124 cop cars, a Maserati Quattroporte IV, some BMW street bikes and Ducati Scrambler.
