BYD India, a subsidiary of global electric vehicle (EV) manufacturer BYD, has achieved a notable milestone by delivering 200 Atto 3 units in a single day across six major Indian cities. The special delivery events took place in Delhi NCR, Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Kochi, and Hyderabad.

In March 2023, BYD India had already announced the delivery of 700 Atto 3 units in the country. In fact, the brand had received 1,500 bookings for the EV within a month of its launch. Further, BYD India currently operates over 24 dealerships in 21 Indian cities and plans to expand its network to 53 showrooms by the end of the year. Meanwhile, this milestone coincides with BYD India's celebration of 16 years of operations in the Indian market. Along with the Atto 3, the EV maker sells the all-electric EV6 MPV here.
