Bugatti Veyron designer Jozef Kaban joins MG as VP of Global Design Centre

MG Motor has stated that Jozef Kaban has joined the business as Vice President of its Global Design Centre. Jozef Kaban, a world-renowned designer, graduated from the Royal College of Art in London in 1997 with a degree in transportation design before joining the Volkswagen Group in Germany, where he displayed great creative skill.

Kaban was only 25 years old when he was in charge of designing the Bugatti Veyron supercar project. His exceptional design abilities have propelled him to significant roles with world-renowned brands such as Skoda, BMW, Rolls-Royce, and Volkswagen. Kaban, 51, was formerly the lead external designer at Audi, where he worked on the A5 coupe.

Kaban is entrusted with developing MG's worldwide design language and joins the firm at an exciting time, as it celebrates its 100th anniversary and prepares to launch the high-performance Cyberster EV roadster later in 2024.

MG will also display its latest concept vehicle, the EXE181, at the Beijing auto show later this week, which is inspired by the 1957 land-speed record-breaking EX181 model.
