BMW shuffles top personnel in its design department
German automaker BMW has shuffled a number of senior positions in the BMW Design, Mini Design and Rolls-Royce. The new BMW design team gets a new head of Exterior Design Domagoj Dukec, while the Interior Design will be lead by Oliver Heilmer. Martina Starke will be the new head of Colour and Material Design. The team will be lead by Karim Habib.

Domagoj Dukec has been part of Exterior Design BMW Automobiles team since 2010. The Concept Active Tourer's design was his baby. Oliver Heilmer has been in Interior Design BMW Automobiles team since 2000 and he is the man behind the interiors of the BMW 5 Series. He will also take up responsibility of Automobile Design at DesignworksUSA. Martina Starke has been in-charge of Colour and Material Design for the larger series cars and also BMW Individual.
Anders Warming is in charge of the MINI Design team, which now gets Christopher Weil as its new head of Exterior Design. He was with Automotive Design at DesignworksUSA. Rolls-Royce gets Marcus Syring. Oliver Sieghart remains responsible for Interior Design and Annette Baumeister for Colour and Material Design.
