Tuesday, May 24 2022 marked 50 years since the partnership agreement for BMW Motorsport GmbH was signed. As a current anniversary highlight, BMW M GmbH is offering an exceptional range of edition cars.

BMW India will introduce 10 Special Editions, spanning domestically made and CBU vehicles, with a concentration on M models and M Sport versions. The famous BMW Motorsport symbol, which was initially used on race vehicles of BMW Motorsport GmbH, created in 1972, has returned to mark the start of the milestone year.

BMW has introduced two special versions of the M3 and M4 high-performance models to celebrate 50 years of the automaker's M division and has called it the Edition 50 Jahre BMW M.

The unique BMW M3 and M4 vehicles, according to BMW, have a distinctive BMW motorsport insignia in place of the iconic brand roundel. These unique versions will be accessible in China, the United States, Canada, and Europe, among other places.

Carbon Black, Brands Hatch Grey, Imola Red, Macao Blue, and San Marino Blue are among the colour options available to European purchasers, according to BMW. The BMW M4 is available in Fire Orange and Stratus Grey in China. A carbon-fibre front splitter and edition-exclusive forged wheels are among the other unique design aspects. Each of these unique versions includes a variety of conventional M Performance parts as well as unique matching luggage.

BMW's M3 and M4 cabins have a distinctive, yet nostalgic design, with the upholstery embroidered in iconic BMW performance colours of red, navy, and blue. The door sills and seats are additionally adorned with Edition 50 Jahre BMW M logo. Another fascinating touch is a customized plaque on the centre console that features the model's identity as well as its production number.

These cars won't have any mechanical changes done to them and probably won't make it to India as they are in very few numbers. We still don't know much about the special edition cars that BMW India has plans to launch within the country.
