BMW 7 Series 740d M Sport launched in India, priced at Rs 1.82 crore

BMW has introduced a new 7-series version in India. The BMW 740d M Sport is priced at Rs 1.81 crore and is manufactured domestically at the BMW Group Plant in Chennai. The BMW 7 Series currently comes in petrol, diesel, electric, and all-electric performance variants.

The BMW 740d M Sport is available in the following colours: Oxide Grey, Mineral White, Black Sapphire, and BMW Individual Tanzanite Blue. BMW Individual leather Merino upholstery in Amarone, Tartufo, Mocha, Black, and Smoke White is also available for the premium limousine.

The BMW 740d M Sport is powered by a three-litre six-cylinder diesel engine that produces 286PS and 650 Nm of torque. A 48V mild-hybrid system with 18PS and 200Nm of extra boost is also available. Across the board, an eight-speed automatic gearbox is standard. The car can go from 0 to 100 kmph in 6.0 seconds.

LED DRLs with BMW Crystal lights and Swarovski crystals are among the features of the BMW 740d M Sport. LED headlights are located below, and an illuminated kidney grille is located in the centre of the fascia.

Inside the interior, the unique BMW Interaction Bar improves both the aesthetics and practicality of the cockpit. Passengers may use this touch-enabled bar to manage ambient lighting, air conditioning, and other features. The Rear Seat Entertainment Experience, which includes a 31.3-inch touch screen and a Bowers & Wilkins Diamond Surround Sound System, is available for rear passengers. For increased convenience, the car features automatic door opening and shutting. Airbags, Dynamic Stability Control, an automatic parking brake, side-impact protection, and other safety features are standard.

The 740d M Sport's BMW ConnectedDrive system provides numerous interaction capabilities between the occupants and the car. BMW ID, MyBMW App, Digital Key Plus, Emergency Call, Real-Time Traffic Information, and many other features are included.
