Bentley Continental GT Mulliner debuted as the new range topping variant
The Bentley Continental GT Mulliner, the new iteration of British luxury automaker Bentley's flagship grand tourer, has been unveiled. The new Mulliner edition, which replaces the Speed, Azure and S variations as the top-of-the-line model, shows that Bentley is still making changes to the Continental GT.
The Double Diamond matrix grille, illuminated outer doorsills with Mulliner , Mulliner Welcome Lamps below, and Mulliner-badged air intakes are all hallmarks of the Bentley Continental GT Mulliner. The front vents and rearview mirrors can be either black or silver, at the discretion of the owner. A new set of 22-inch wheels with a Mulliner-specific design are also included.
The Mulliner is available with a 6.0-litre twin-turbo W12 engine that yields the maximum power and torque among the Continental GT models at 659PS and 900Nm. This aids in its sprint from 0 to 100 kmph in only 3.6 seconds, with a top speed of 335 kmph.
The Bentley Continental GT Mulliner has Bentley Dynamic Ride, a three-chamber air suspension system with adjustable damping levels, and electronic all-wheel steering. Additionally, it has torque-vectoring ceramic brakes, variable stability control (ESC), and an electronic limited-slip differential (e-LSD).
A primary, secondary, and accent colour are all available for the interiors of the Bentley. Customers can choose one of 88 distinct wood veneers from Mulliner's selection of eight such colour combinations. The doors, seats, and rear quarter panels have Bentley's "Diamond in Diamond" quilting, which has each diamond contain exactly 712 threads and totals about 400,000 stitches.
A custom Breitling clock, a drawing of the 's outline on the passenger side, and a somewhat unusual machined finish for the centre console are among the other distinctive elements on the dashboard.
