Benelli India makes Imperiale 400 BSVI more affordable
It was in July last year that Benelli India launched the Imperiale 400 BSVI, the company's first BSVI offering for the Indian market. The modern-classic was launched at Rs 1.99 lakh. However, this year, Benelli has corrected the price by launching it at Rs 1.89 lakh, making it Rs 10,000 more affordable. The company mentions the two factors that helped for this are increase in localised content and strengthening of the rupee against the dollar. Nothing on the motorcycle has changed, in terms of aesthetics or colour options for 2021.
Powering the Benelli Imperiale 400 BSVI is a SOHC, single-cylinder, four-stroke, air-cooled engine with electronic fuel injection that produces a maximum power of 21PS at 6000rpm, with a torque output of 29Nm at 3500rpm. During our roadtest review, the motorcycle left quite a positive impression. We also compared the Benelli Imperiale 400 with the Royal Enfield Meteor 350, Honda CB 350 Highness and the Classic 350. Which one was the best? Read our detailed comparison story here.
Benelli is offering a best in class 3-Year unlimited kilometre warranty as standard, along with complimentary service for the first 2-years covering five periodic maintenance services, AMC cost of Rs. 1,500 plus tax for 3rd year periodic maintenance services, pick and drop service and 24/7 Road Side Assistance. Also, to help prospective clients book the motorcycle without them physically visiting a dealership, Benelli India has setup a dedicated website, wherein bookings can be made for a token of Rs 6,000.
