BattRE launches the gps:ie at Rs 64,990
BattRE Electric Mobility Pvt Ltd has launched the BattRE gps:ie at a price of Rs 64,990. It is an electric scooter that has been developed by the company with the partnership of Aeris Communications. Aeris communication is headquartered in San Jose California and it has an office in Delhi NCR for this connected scooter. The scooter has a SIM card integrated into it which allows smart vehicle functions through the official app on the phone.
The BattRE gps:ie will be available at over 50 dealerships across UP, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Telangana, Gujarat, Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu. The scooter is also available on Amazon. It features GPS tracking, remote immobilization, driver behaviour reports, trip reports, geofence, device management and secure park. The scooter has an alert feature that notifies the rider about the device status along with tow alert, crash alert and speeding alert. The bike weighs 60kg and rides on tubeless tyres. Braking duties are done by 220mm disc on both wheels with EBS and damping duties are done by telescopic forks up front and adjustable Coilover for the rear section. The scooter also gets LED headlamps, reverse mode, USB charger, keyless ignition and anti-theft alarm.
The scooter comes with a 48V 24Ah Lithium Ferro Phosphate battery that powers the BLDC hub motor and it has a maximum range of 65km. A full charge takes around two and a half hours. The scooter is available in two colours - Red and Blue.
