Here are five things you should know about the Maruti Suzuki Swift!
The 2018 Maruti Suzuki Swift is based on Suzuki's latest Heartect platform. Dimensionally, it's wheelbase is 20mm longer than the previous generation Swift, while also being 40mm wider. However, it is 10mm shorter in overall length. These new dimensions mean that from the outside it is a more compact and squarer package. More importantly, on the inside this frees up more knee room as well as shoulder room for the rear seat passengers, as well as adds 58kg more boot space. The new platform also reduces between 75kg and 85kg from the diesel and petrol variants, respectively.

Here are our first impressions of the all-new Maruti Suzuki Swift
The new Swift looks smarter and retains the shape and proportions of the original that made it such a loved hatchback. The biggest difference is the large hexagonal grille that one has already seen on the new Swift Dzire. This grille along with the longer and more sharply shaped headlights dominates the entire design. The projector headlamps on the top end versions also come with eye-catching LED daytime running lights (DRL's).
