Audi opens new Technical Service Centre in Mumbai
In a bid to strengthen its service network in the subcontinent, Audi India has just opened a new Technical Service Centre in Mumbai. The facility, located in Andheri, will feature a workshop as well as training facilities that are in line with Audi AG standards. This means fully climate controlled bays in the workshop, state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment for in depth analysis and a training facility to conduct boot camps for the technical team as well as the dealer network.
"Customer delight has been our focus and our customer centric strategy has been instrumental in our success in the Indian market. Customers are serviced for life when they buy an Audi. The Audi Technical Service Centre is a step in that direction," said Joe King, head, Audi India.
The technical centre will also collect valuable data to provide Audi insights into the usage patterns and other local peculiarities and customer preferences from its Indian customers. This knowledge will be used to better tailor or adapt their products for the Indian Market.

Mumbai, April 10th, 2015 Audi, the German luxury car manufacturer, today opened the Audi Technical Service Centre for India in Mumbai, a pioneering step towards strengthening its after-sales service in the market. The Audi Technical Service Centre was inaugurated by Mr. Ulli Seyfferth, Head of Technical Service: Entire Vehicle, AUDI AG and Mr. Joe King, Head, Audi India. "The Audi Technical Service Centre in India will enable us to obtain deeper insight into usage patterns of our cars and other local peculiarities as well as customer preferences in India. These learnings are equally important for us to adapt our products to suit the market requirements.
