Ashok Leyland launches Boss ICV in India at Rs 10.5 lakh
Manufactured at the company's largest, state-of-the-art plant in Pantnagar, Uttarakhand, the Boss is being launched in the haulage segment with 9.6T, 11.9Tand 12.9T GVW. The Boss classifies as an Intermediate Commercial Vehicle (ICV), and will be part of a fast growing segment in the struggling commercial vehicle market. Since developments on an ICV are incremental from an LCV or a scale down from an MCV, costs in general aren't high. It also provides transporters with the option to carry intermediate loads with just the right investment.
