April issue is out on stands now

It's that time of the month when our latest issue hits the stands. And this month too, we have lots of exciting tests, drives, comparos, rides and features to fuel your need for speed for all of April.

We got our hands on the most awaited SUV in India in some years â€" the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport. We also drove Hyundai's revival attempt at the D-segment, the new Fluidic Hyundai Sonata. In the last issue, Shumi took the new Touareg for some off-roading and this time, Rishaad tests the big VW on tarmac. If you thought that BMWs are known for their solid punch-in-the -gut petrols, then Sirish begs to differ with his test of the new BMW 640d. We also pit India's favourite people mover, the Innova, against its competition â€" the all new Mahindra Xylo. The Fiesta petrol gets a new 6-speed dual clutch transmission and we pitch it against the competition to see how good it is. The XA Alpha concept car intrigued many at the Delhi Auto Expo and Joe decides to find out how it actually came into existence. Not just that, Joe also tackled some dunes in Mahindra 4x4s in the Mahindra Great Escape.

The Geneva Motorshow has visitors and automobile enthusiasts thrilled to the core every year and this time, it was no different. There were scores of India-bound models along with the some concept cars which have a really interesting future. All the while if you are wondering what Shumi was doing, he was out pitting the new 200 Duke against the Yamaha R15 and the Honda CBR250R. Halley on the other hand got to attack Munnar's twisties on the Ducati Multistrada 1200. Not content with that, he also drove a Pete's tuned, stage 3 turbo Laura TSI making all of 360PS. Abhay got to relive his engineering days through the 2012 Mahindra Baja SAE India event. Alan became our new 'Bullet' man when he went on the Tour of Rajasthan with 20 bikes for company and he still hasn't stopped smiling about the entire experience.

From Europe, Harriet gets her dose of adrenaline from the new BMW S1000RR and Suzuki's Versys beater, the V-Strom. Ray meanwhile gets to drive in Fiat's impressive new Panda â€" the one which is expected to rake in the big numbers when it will finally comes down to India in the near future.
