Mercedes' fire breathing tuning arm, AMG, has completed 45 years of making performance machines and they are celebrating it with a sneak-peek into the future. To commemorate the occasion, the entire AMG line-up including the current and future cars posed for a photograph.

First up, we have the new Mercedes A 45 AMG, a derivative of the A-Class. The 2.0-litre turbocharged 4-cylinder engine in the A45 produces more than 400Nm of torque and is mated to a 7-speed SpeedShift AMG DCT with all-wheel drive technology. It also boasts of special AMG parts like the electromechanical speed-sensitive steering wheel, sports suspension, high-performance brakes and 3-stage ESP with sport mode. The A 45 AMG will debut in the first quarter of 2013 and is expected to bring in new customers and markets into the three pointed star fold.

There are eight cars under wraps in the picture. There appear to be three hatchbacks, two coupes, two SUVs and one sedan. Though details of the cars are sketchy, we expect AMG to come up with some bonker machine for its 50th anniversary.
