Hyderabad-based Adishwar Auto Ride India (AARI) has entered yet another partnership with a two-wheeler manufacturer, and this time around, it's not Italian or Hungarian but a Chinese bike-maker - Zontes. Adishwar Auto Ride has already tied-up with two-wheeler manufacturers to the likes of Benelli, Keeway and most recently, Moto Morini.

There's no indication as to how many bikes Zontes will initially come out with in India, but the company has quite a portfolio of 250cc and 350cc bike and scooter styles ranging from ADVs and tourers to cruisers and maxi-style scooters. Zontes India's social media recently put out a teaser of a motorcycle that we assume to be the ZT350-GK neo-retro sportscafe bike (pictured above). The ZT350-GZ shows off a very scrambler-ish aesthetic and comes powered by a water-cooled 348cc single-cyl motor that puts down a max 39PS pf power at 9,500rpm and a max torque of 32Nm at 7,500rpm which should provide a good amount of shove. The bike has a 17-litre tank, and comes with 170mm of ground clearance and weighs in at 188kg. The Zontes comes with an alloy frame reinforced with external bracing, and in terms of suspension gets a 43mm USD fork and rear shock. Other stand out features include a dual-sided swingarm, a 17-inch wheelset and a 320mm disc up front with a 260mm rotor at the rear. Abroad, the bike gets dual-channel ABS safeguards against lockups at both ends.

Wait, what tes Zontes?

Zontes is a subsidiary of China-based Guangdong Tayo Motorcycle Technology Co Ltd. which was established in 2003. The company specialises in the production of motorcycles and scooters with advanced industrial equipment. These products are well received and sold in Asia, Europe, the Middle East, South America, and other countries.
