2026 Triumph Trident 800 breaks cover

The Triumph Trident has been unveiled by the company and it is powered by an all-new 798cc triple-cylinder engine.

The all-new 2026 Triumph Trident 800 has been revealed by the brand and it is powered by the new 798-cc, triple-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine that comes coupled to a six-speed transmission. And the six-speed gear box gets a Triumph Shift Assist. The engine produces a good 113 PS of power at 10,750 rpm and 84 Nm of peak torque at 8,500 rpm.

The bike rides on 17-inch  five-spoke alloy wheels with four-piston radial caliper biting on 310 mm dual discs up front and a single piston sliding caliper biting on a 220 mm disc at the rear for braking duties. The suspension component comprises of adjustable Showa 41mm upside down with 120 mm travel for the front section and a monoshock at the rear with 130 mm travel.

The feature list includes three ride modes (Road, Sport, and Rain), lean-sensitive cornering ABS, traction control, Bluetooth connectivity, a 3.5-inch round TFT dash, LED lighting all around, and self-cancelling turn signals.

The saddle height is at 810 mm, it has a wheelbase of 1,402 mm, a fuel tank capacity of 14-litres and it tips the scales at 198 kg. The bike is offered in three colours - Ash Grey/Diablo Red, Carnival Red/Graphite, and Jet Black.

Whether the bike will make its way to the Indian shore is yet to be seen. The bike rivals the likes of the Kawasaki Z900 and Yamaha MT-09 to name a few.
