2025 Suzuki GSX-8R launched for Rs 9.25 lakh
The 2025 Suzuki GSX-8R has been launched for Rs 9.25 lakh and it continues to be powered a 776cc parallel twin DOHC 4-valve-per-cylinder engine which is now OBD2B compliant. The engine comes mated to a six-speed gearbox which produces 81 PS and 78 Nm of peak torque.
Suspension duties are done by Hitachi Astemo (SHOWA) SFF-BP inverted front forks, paired with a Hitachi Astemo (SHOWA) link-type mono-shock rear suspension with preload adjuster. Braking is handled by dual four-piston radial-mount front brake callipers with 310 mm outer diameter dual discs and a single disc at the rear. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, has a 14-litre fuel tank, a ground clearance of 145 mm, a wheelbase of 1,465 mm, a seat height of 810 mm and it tips the scales at 205 kg.
Noteworthy features include ride modes - Active, Basic, and Comfort, traction control, a bi-directional quickshifter, ride-by-wire throttle, low RPM assist and Suzuki easy start system. And it is offered in three colours - Metallic Triton Blue, Metallic Matte Sword Silver, and Metallic Matte Black No.2.
