2025 Skoda Kodiaq specifications revealed ahead of India launch
Skoda Auto has revealed the full specifications of the 2025 Kodiaq SUV ahead of its India launch in the coming weeks and is expected to price the new Kodiaq at around Rs 45 lakh(ex-showroom). The second-generation Kodiaq will be assembled locally and is expected to carry forward its features, updated cabin space and mechanicals.
The car will be powered by a 2.0L turbo-petrol engine, producing 204PS and 320Nm of torque, paired to a 7-speed DSG automatic transmission. The Kodiaq will feature all-wheel-drive(AWD) as standard. The new Kodiaq is longer than its earlier model, measuring 4,758mm long (up by 61mm), offering improved cabin space and more legroom for third-row passengers.
Boot space has also increased to 340-litres with all three rows in place. The SUV continues with a 2,791mm wheelbase. The car will be available as a 7-seater model only in India. The SUV will have 19-inch alloy wheels, LED headlamps and dynamic turn indicators.
The car's interior features a free-standing 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10.25-inch digital driver's display and updated two-spoke steering wheels. The cabin will also offer features like ventilated and heated front seats, a panoramic sunroof, dual-zone climate control and Skoda's signature rotary dials with integrated mini-displays for controlling various in-car functions.
On the safety front, the 2025 Kodiaq will include nine airbags, electronic stability control, a 360-degree camera, front and rear parking sensors, and ADAS features such as lane keep assist and adaptive cruise control. Skoda Kodiaq will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, MG Gloster and Jeep Meridian.
