2024 Skoda Octavia facelift teased

Skoda has officially teased the Octavia facelift via its YouTube channel, hinting an imminent global debut is just around the corner. The short teaser video shows the veiled front end of the upcoming Octavia, offering a sneak peek of its refreshed lights. Along with a redesigned exterior, there are likely to be more significant updates to its interior, feature, and powertrain options.

2024 Skoda Octavia facelift: Exterior

As seen in the teaser picture, the upcoming Octavia facelift shows off new angular daytime driving lights integrated into the LED headlamp unit. Although the Octavia facelift is veiled in the teaser, we can expect a redesigned grille, new front and rear bumpers, updated taillights, and a new set of wheels.

2024 Skoda Octavia facelift: Interior

While Skoda has not revealed the interior details, the upcoming Skoda Octavia facelift could get a cabin similar to the new generation Superb and Kodiaq. There is expected to be a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system, a 10-inch driver display, a heads-up display, a high power output wireless charging pad and USB Type-C sockets, and Skoda Smart Dials - a three rotary-knob setup with integrated displays. Further, Skoda could offer an updated steering wheel, re-positioned gear selector, and upholstery made from recycled materials.

In terms of features, the refreshed Octavia is likely to get Level 2 autonomy, multiple airbags, traction control, ESC, hill hold assist, ambient lighting, hi-fi sound system, adaptive LED headlights, TPMS, telematics, park assist, and among others.

2024 Skoda Octavia facelift: Powertrain

The Octavia is expected to gain an upgraded powertrain line-up, featuring mild-hybrid functionality. Whereas, its hybrid powertrain could also be updated to offer a longer range. However, the India-spec model may only get a single powertrain.
