2023 Tata Tiago EV: Price, variants, features explained

Tata Motors has launched the Tata Tiago EV at prices starting from Rs 8.49 lakh. This makes it the most affordable electric car in India in the private segment. The prices are applicable for the first 10,000 bookings of which 2,000 are reserved for previous Tata EV owners. Deliveries will begin from January 2023.

The Tata Tiago EV can be had with two battery options. The smaller medium range battery is 19.2 kWh and good for a 250 km MIDC range. The larger 24 kWh can do 315 km on a single charge. The smaller battery Tiago EV makes 61Ps and 110 Nm, getting from 0 to 60 kmph in 6.2s while the larger pack makes 75PS and 114 Nm and can do 0 to 100 kmph in 5.7s in the Sport mode.

There are four charging options including a 15A socket, a 3.3 kWh home charger, a 7.2 kW AC charger as well as a DC charging option that can go from 0 to 80 percent range in 57min.
