On the occasion of World EV Day, Tata Motors has opened bookings for the 2023 Nexon EV facelift in India. Customers can secure their Nexon EV facelift with a token amount of Rs 21,000. The brand offers a choice of three variants: Creative, Fearless, and Empowered. Notably, the updated electric SUV will go on sale on 14 September, 2023. As part of the facelift, the Nexon EV receives numerous updates to its design, feature list, colours, and, most importantly, the electric powertrain.

2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Highlights

The updated Nexon EV is available in a range of paint options: Daytona Grey, Pristine White, Intensi-teal, Creative Ocean, Flame Red, Empowered Oxide, and Fearless Purple. It boasts a dual-tone interior theme and a larger 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with OTT app support and compatibility with Siri, Google, and Alexa. 2023 Tata Nexon EV Facelift: Battery, Range, Power Outputs, and Charging

Tata has renamed the previous Nexon Prime and Nexon Max to the Mid range (MR) and Long range (LR). The MR variant comes with a 30.2kWh battery, while the LR variant boasts a 40.5kWh battery pack. Although the battery capacity remains the same, the mid-range version now offers a range of up to 325km, while the long-range version can cover up to 465km. The MR variant also supports faster 7.2kW AC Type-2 charging. The electric motor paired with the 30.2kWh unit produces 129PS/215Nm, while it generates 145PS/215Nm when paired with the 40.5kWh battery. Tata has introduced an interesting feature in the Nexon EV facelift called vehicle-to-vehicle (V2V) and vehicle-to-load (V2L). V2V allows charging another EV, while V2L supplies power to various electronic appliances.
