2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 coming soon

Royal Enfield recently unveiled the alloy wheel versions of the Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650. Along with alloy wheels, the pair has received several other significant upgrades since its launch in 2019. Here is everything you need to know about the new alloy wheels versions.

2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650: Design

To begin with, the 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 alloy-wheel versions feature an all-black paint scheme. The engine, dual exhaust system, mirrors, front fork, and handlebar all come painted black. In the UK, the former is available with Barcelona Blue and Black Rey, while the latter is available in Slipstream Blue and Apex Grey. Notably, the new set of alloys on both motorcycles is black too.

2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650: Features

With this update, Royal Enfield has bestowed the Interceptor 650 and Continental 650 with a round LED headlight. The Super Meteor 650 was the first RE to get the LED headlamp. In addition, the 650 duo features a USB charging port on the left side of the switchgear. Speaking of switchgear, the refreshed INT 650 and Continental GT 650 also benefit from a circular dial switch for engine start/stop and control low and high beams.

Powering the 2023 Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650 alloy wheel versions is the 648cc, air/oil-cooled, parallel-twin SOHC engine generating 47PS at 7,250rpm and 52.3Nm of torque at 5,550rpm. This motor is mated to a six-speed gearbox.

2023 Royal Enfield Interceptor 650 and Continental GT 650: India launch

While the new alloy wheels versions of the INT 650 and Continental GT 650 have already gone on sale in the United Kingdom, we expect Royal Enfield to launch the updated 650 twins in India soon. With the new alloy wheels and features, the INT 650 and Continental GT 650 are likely to attract a high premium over the on-sale models.
