2023 Honda Activa 125 launched with new H-Smart variant; prices start at Rs 78,920
Honda has launched the 2023 Activa 125 in India with prices starting at Rs 78,920 (ex-showroom, Delhi). The brand has also introduced the new Activa 125 H-Smart variant, like the recently launched Activa 6G H-Smart. Notably, the scooter now complies with the OBD2 emission norms and is available in a choice of four variants: Drum, Drum Alloy, Disc, and H-Smart.
2023 Honda Activa 125: Highlights
The 2023 Activa 125 is available in five colour schemes: Pearl Night Start Black, Rebel Red Metallic, Pearl Precious White, Mid Night Blue Metallic, and Heavy Gray Metallic (unavailable with Drum variant). The scooter retains the same design as the previous model. It gets an LED headlamp, apron-mounted turn indicators, and LED daytime riding lights, among others.
2023 Honda Activa 125: Features
Honda has bestowed the 2023 Activa 125 with its Honda Smart Key System. With this, it now comes with a smart key or key fob that recently debuted with the Activa 6G H-Smart. Thus, the 2023 Activa H-Smart gets several new features, such as a vehicle locator, remote lock/unlock, keyless engine start, and anti-theft vehicle immobiliser system.
In addition, the scooter continues to offer Enhanced Smart Power (eSP), ACG starter, idle engine start/stop system, semi-digital instrument console, engine side stand cut-off, engine start/stop switch, and headlight pass switch.
2023 Honda Activa 125: Mechanicals
The 2023 Activa 125 is fitted with telescopic front forks, a three-step adjustable rear suspension, and a combi-braking system with a 190mm front disc unit and 130mm rear drum unit. Further, it has an 18-litre under-seat storage and a new front open glove box.
2023 Honda Activa 125: Engine
Honda's latest Activa 125 is powered by a 123.97cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine producing 8.29PS at 6,500rpm and 10.3Nm of torque at 5,000rpm. This motor is now OBD2-compliant.
