2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios facelift India launch tomorrow

Hyundai's Maruti Suzuki Swift rival, the updated Grand i10 Nios, is slated for the India launch tomorrow. This update has brought a few cosmetic changes and new features to the hatchback. Notably, the carmaker has already commenced bookings for Rs 11,000.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Design

The new Hyundai Grand i10 Nios features a fresh look. To begin with, there are new front and rear bumpers, Y-shaped LED daytime running lights, a larger grille with a honey-comb pattern design, new LED rear lights, and a fresh set of 15-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. In addition, Hyundai will offer a choice of six paint options: Spark Green, Polar White, Titan Grey, Fiery Red, Typhoon Silver, and Teal Blue. It should be noted that the Spark Green and Polar White colours will also be available as a dual-tone option paired with a black roof.

The upcoming new Grand i10 Nios gets new seat covers with decorative piping. Further, Hyundai has also outfitted it with an eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system, automatic climate control, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, wireless charging pad, footwell lights, leather-wrapped steering wheel, updated analogue instrument cluster with MID, and USB Type-C ports.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Features

The facelift has bestowed the Grand i10 Nios with a bunch of new features, such as six airbags, cruise control, hill start assist, ESC, vehicle stability management, ISOFIX anchor points, rear defogger, auto headlamps, a tyre pressure monitoring system, and a rearview camera with parking sensors. Notably, all variants come equipped with four airbags as standard.

2023 Hyundai Grand i10 Nios: Powertrain

Powering the Grand i10 Nios will be a 1.2-litre petrol motor paired with a five-speed manual or AMT. This engine makes 83PS and 114Nm of torque. Hyundai will also offer a CNG version with power outputs rated at 69PS and 95.2Nm. However, the CNG-powered Grand i10 Nios will be only available with a five-speed manual gearbox.
