Bajaj Auto has revealed the prices of the 2023 Pulsar NS200 in India. With fresh graphics, new colour schemes, and upgraded hardware, the naked motorcycle now costs Rs. 1.47 lakh (ex-showroom). Meanwhile, the brand has also disclosed the prices of the 2023 Pulsar NS160. Here we compare the 2023 Pulsar NS200, Hero Xpulse 200T, and TVS Apache RTR 200 4V.

The 2023 Pulsar NS200 continues to be powered by a 199.5cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled engine producing 24.5PS at 9,750rpm and 18.74Nm at 8,000rpm. This motor is coupled to a six-speed gearbox. Notably, the engine also complies with upcoming BS6 phase-2 emission norms.

On the other hand, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V gets a 197.75cc, oil/air-cooled, single-cylinder motor making 20.82PS at 9,000rpm and 17.25Nm at 7,250rpm. It comes mated to a five-speed gearbox. Whereas, the Xpulse 200T 4V is powered by a 199.6cc, single-cylinder, air/oil-cooled unit that generates 19.17PS at 8,500rpm and 17.35Nm of torque at 6,500rpm.

Bajaj has given the 2023 Pulsar NS200 a new pair of upside-down front forks. Whereas, the rear retains a mono-shock. Additionally, it comes with dual-channel ABS. Further, the 2023 NS200 continues with a 300mm single front disc, 230mm single rear disc, a halogen headlamp, and a semi-digital instrument console, among others.

While the 2023 Pulsar NS200 now gets USD forks, its closest rival, the Hero Xpulse 200T 4V, offers conventional telescopic front forks. In addition, the rear comes with a mono-shock. However, the Xpulse 200T 4V features an LCD display with Bluetooth connectivity and turn-by-turn navigation. It also boasts an LED headlamp, taillamp, and DRL. Regarding the braking hardware, the Xpulse 200T 4V is equipped with 276mm and 220mm single disc setups at the front and rear, respectively.

On the other hand, the TVS Apache RTR 200 4V is fitted with an LED headlight, taillight, and daytime driving light; telescopic front forks with preload adjustability, a mono-shock, adjustable brake and clutch levers, dual-channel ABS, 270mm front disc, 240mm rear disc, three riding modes (Urban, Rain, and Sport), and slipper clutch.

Moreover, the Apache RTR 200 4V boasts a fully digital dashboard with SmartXonnect, which features turn-by-turn navigation, call/sms alert, crash detection, lean angle model, race telemetry, and low fuel alert with an assist.

The 2023 Bajaj Pulsar NS200 has become pricer by about Rs 7,000 compared to the outgoing model. Thus, it is now priced at Rs 1,47,347 (ex-showroom). The TVS Apache RTR 200 4V costs Rs 1,45,970 (ex-showroom), while the Hero Xpulse 200T 4V comes with a sticker price of Rs 1,35,726 (ex-showroom).
