2022 Toyota Hilux: Prices and variants explained
Toyota Kirloskar Motor has announced prices for the 2022 Toyota Hilux with the base variant and a manual 4x4 gearbox starting at Rs 33.99 lakh. The mid-spec Toyota Hilux 4x4 High MT is priced at Rs 35.80 lakh while the top-spec 4x4 AT costs Rs 36.80 lakh.
The Toyota Hilux is based on the same IMV ladder-frame architecture as the Fortuner and Innova and shares most of its mechanical components with the SUV. The India-spec Hilux is powered by the same 2.8-litre turbo-diesel that puts out 204PS and 500 Nm and pairs with a six-speed automatic and a six-speed manual with 420 Nm.
The new Toyota Hilux has a five-star ASEAN NCAP safety rating with features that include seven airbags, vehicle stability control, hill-start assist, anti-theft alarm, whiplash protection front seats, ISOFIX child seat mounts and ABS.
Customers of the Toyota Hilux can choose from Emotional Red, White Pearl Shine, Silver Metallic, Gray Metallic and Super White. Below is what you get with each of the variants of the Toyota Hilux with their prices.
