The model and feature information for the upcoming Maruti Suzuki Brezza has leaked ahead of its formal introduction on 30 June. On Thursday, Maruti Suzuki announced that the forthcoming 2022 Brezza sub-compact SUV would also receive an upgraded 9-inch SmartPlay Pro+ infotainment system. The company has continued to highlight the feature upgrades within the vehicle.

While it has already been confirmed that the 2022 Brezza will feature a pop-out Heads-Up Display (HUD), 360-degree camera, and will be the first-ever Maruti model with a sunroof, the main infotainment screen is still likely to receive the most attention. Maruti Suzuki has been clearly focused on updating its models with the latest technology on offer in the automotive space.

Along with a redesigned display screen, the new Brezza will also have quality audio tuned by Arkamys' "Surround Sense." Other features anticipated for the vehicle include ambient lighting, a chilled glove box, a multi-layered dashboard, and support for Android Auto and Apple CarPlay.

We already know that the 2022 Brezza will be available in four trim levels, LXI, VXI, ZXI and ZXI+. The top three variants, with the exception of the basic LXI, are likely to receive automatic transmission choices.

The Brezza will continue to be a petrol-only model and is expected to be driven by a 1.5-litre K12C petrol engine that develops 103PS and 138Nm of torque under the hood. Pre-bookings for the car are already underway.
