2020 Maruti Suzuki Alto, Celerio and WagonR get festive edition accessory packs
Maruti Suzuki has launched accessory packs to better equip its entry-level Maruti Suzuki Alto, Maruti Suzuki Celerio and Maruti Suzuki WagonR hatchbacks for festive-season buyers. These Festive Edition accessory pack can be specified for an additional Rs 25,490 for the Alto, Rs 25,990 for the Celerio and Rs 29,990 for the WagonR.
With the Alto Festive Edition, added features are a Pioneer touchscreen music system, Kenwood speakers, security system, dual-tone seat covers, steering wheel cover and more. The special edition Celerio adds Sony double din audio with Bluetooth, seat covers, piano black body side mouldings and designer mats. The WagonR's festive season accessory pack gives it front and rear bumper protectors, front upper grill chrome garnish, side skirts, stylish
themed seat covers and an interior styling kit.
The Alto comes powered by a 796cc three-cylinder motor that makes 48PS at 6,000 rpm and 69 Nm at 3,500 rpm. The CNG version puts out 41PS at 6,000 rpm and 60 Nm at 3,500 rpm. Both come paired with a five-speed manual. The ARAI-rated fuel efficiency figure for the petrol Alto is 22.05 kmpl while the CNG is rated at 31.59 km/kg. The Celerio comes powered by the K10B 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol that puts out 68PS and 90 Nm. This pairs with a five-speed manual or AMT. The CNG version puts out 59PS and 978 Nm. The petrol manual and AMT Celerio both return 21.63 kmpl while the CNG version has a fuel efficiency of 30.47 km/kg.
The WagonR is powered by this same 1.0-litre engine in its lower variants, a 1.2-litre K12M petrol motor is also available for higher-specced cars. This engine makes 83PS and 113 Nm. Like the Celerio, both engines can be had with a manual or AMT. Fuel efficiency for the WagonR 1.2 is 20.52 kmpl for both manual and AMT
Prices for the Maruti Suzuki Alto start from Rs 2.99 lakh for the base Standard trim and goes up to Rs 3.94 lakh for the top VXI Plus. The Maruti Suzuki Celerio's price ranges between Rs 4.46 lakh and Rs 5.63 lakh. The Maruti Suzuki WagonR is priced between Rs 4.50 lakh and Rs 5.99 lakh. All prices are ex-showroom Mumbai.
