2020 Honda X-Blade BSVI launched in India at Rs 1.05 lakh

Honda 2 Wheelers India has announced the prices of the 2020 X-Blade BSVI, which starts from Rs 1.05 lakh, ex-showroom, Noida. It will be available in two variants - single disc and dual disc (front and rear). The price of the latter has not been announced yet. The colour options that are being offered on this iteration are pearl spartan red, pearl igneous black, matte axis grey metallic and matte marvel blue metallic. Honda is offering a 6-year warranty package,  which includes 3 years standard and 3 years optional extended warranty on X-Blade BSVI. It will compete against the likes of Suzuki Gixxer, Hero Xtreme 160R, Bajaj Pulsar NS160, TVS Apache RTR160 4V and Yamaha FZS-Fi V3

In terms of updates, the X-Blade now comes with new dynamic graphics  and a new rear disc brake while retaining all the other design elements such as the robo-faced LED headlamp, LED taillight, aggressive fuel tank design and the dual outlet muffler. Further, elements such as front fork cover, wheel stripes, belly pan cover and the tank extensions have been carried over from the previous offering. The features list of digital instrumentation with gear position indicator, service due indicator and hazard switch remains unchanged, except that now it gets an engine stop switch.

Importantly, it gets a BSVI compliant 160cc PGM-Fi engine that makes 13.86PS of power at 8,000rpm and generates 14.7 Nm at 5,500 rpm. The power is sent to the rear wheel with the help of a 5-speed gearbox. Honda maintains that the engine is designed to deliver superior efficiency with best in class torque.
