2013 Land Rover Freelander 2 S Business edition launched in India at Rs 37.63 lakh
Land Rover has introduced a cut price version of the Freelander 2 in India. Tagged the Land Rover Freelander 2 S Business Edition, it drops a few features to achieve a competitive price tag of Rs 37.63 lakh ex-Delhi, a figure which is just a lakh off the price of the 150PS Freelander 2.
The S keeps the 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine synced with the 6-speed automatic, tuned to produce 150PS
The S keeps the 2.2-litre TD4 diesel engine synced with the 6-speed automatic, tuned to produce 150PS and 420Nm of torque versus the range-topping SD4's 190PS. Automatic headlights, Xenon lamps, rain sensing wipers and front/rear parking sensors along with the Terrain Response system are intact.
The S has a 4.2" non-touch colour display along with an 80W 6-speaker assembly. Puddle lamps, sunroof, rear camera, seat mounted armrests and electric seat adjustment are feature that have been taken off.
